Hartwood Acres
When one of your best friends asks for nothing but a photo shoot for her birthday, you better make that happen - which I totally did. When I was still struggling to figure out the settings of my Nikon and what exactly each button did, Ally never doubted me. I can't even count how many times I called her and implored her to be my model to help me practice my photography, and never once did she say no. To say that I owe her a lot would be an understatement, so I knew we had to find an amazing location so that she could rock her birthday shoot.
Hartwood Acres was that amazing location, hands down. Not only did it provide the most stunning photos I may have taken to date, but it also brought me a wave of nostalgia - I actually had my own senior photos taken at Hartwood Acres (before I had ever held a DSLR camera or even knew what that was!).
Ally is one of the most photogenic people I've ever met, so honestly, this shoot was a total breeze and I am OBSESSED with how these photos turned out. Especially in the meadow with the golden hour sunlight streaming behind the trees... *swoon* Take a look below to swoon yourself!
