Makenzie & Andrew

In May, I did my first ever giveaway on social media, and the response I got blew me out of the water! And even better - the winner was a sweet friend of mine whom I hadn't seen in over a year! I was so excited when Makenzie's name popped up on my random name generator, and even more excited when she asked if she could use her photo shoot as an engagement session for her and her fiancé, Andrew.

Makenzie and I had both attended Clarion University for undergrad, where we both studied speech-language pathology. Throughout our four years together at Clarion, the amount of times that Makenzie and I were asked if we were related, sisters, cousins, even twins, is really quite an obnoxious number. At some point our senior year, we gave up the futile battle and just started agreeing that we were.

We shot in Makenzie and Andrew's hometown of Franklin, PA (which is absolutely adorable for anyone who isn't familiar with it). I'm a sucker for quaint little towns, so obviously I was in heaven. What made it even better was listening to Makenzie and Andrew reminisce on the times they had together there - we even stopped at the exact street corner where they had officially started dating in high school, just for good measure.

I am so pleased that I was fortunate enough to kick off the start of my summer sessions with Makenzie and Andrew (who couldn't get any cuter even if they tried). I hope you enjoy taking a peak inside this sweet session!
