This past summer, I took family photos for this adorable pair and it was definitely one of my favorite shoots of 2020. Gia was the cutest, sassiest little model for me and I had such a great time following her around with my camera. That's why I was absolutely elated when Elyn asked me to take maternity photos for her before Gia's little sister made her debut - and just in time too! I'll be taking their newborn photos in just a few weeks and I am soo excited to meet little Nina and have another opportunity to photograph their family.
These photos are some of my favorites that I've ever taken, and I've come to realize that maternity photos are so meaningful and so intimate. There is just something about capturing Mom looking adoringly at her belly and knowing that baby is going to be so loved and cherished. And the feeling is amplified when older siblings are added to the mix. Several times I asked Gia, "Where is Nina?" and she would go over and point to Mom's belly and give her a kiss. My heart melted every. time.
